Update 1 overview
Parkour Pandemic launched as the first major content drop for Rxinen Projects' disaster parkour beta on Roblox, originally branded [UPDATE 1!] and now showing [UPDATE 1] on the live page. The update added three headline features: the Void disaster, a new map, and Fusion Gear.
Community YouTube creators refer to the Void hazard as the black hole event — floor tiles vanish as if pulled into a void, matching the official Void disaster framing. If you are returning after early beta, expect harder vertical endgames and a Gear line that rewards players who already mastered Speed and Power kits.

Live stats snapshot (July 2026)
Roblox API data at wiki revision time: 6,979,662+ visits, 76,367+ favorites, 8,350+ concurrent players during peak windows, and 10-player servers. The experience last updated July 19, 2026 after launching April 5, 2026.
Numbers shift daily in beta. Treat them as scale indicators — Parkour Pandemic is a breakout Roblox survival title with an active Update 1 player base, not a niche prototype.
Void disaster
Void erases floor space over staged telegraphs, forcing players off lower layers before the two-minute round ends. It interacts tightly with the new map's wall-run towers — Speed Gear Wall Boost became meta overnight.

New map
Update 1 introduced a map built for vertical disaster play: elevated bridges, interior safe lanes, and Volts paths that discourage ground camping. Legacy beta maps may still rotate, but most community strategy focuses here.

Fusion Gear
Fusion Gear merges mobility concepts from Speed Gear (Wall Boost routes) and Power Gear (Air Blast / Power Dash recovery). It is a late-beta Volts investment — not required to enjoy Update 1, but powerful for advanced runners.

Controls reminder after Update 1
Core controls unchanged: B Emote, Q Dash, C Slide, Double Space Double Jump. Gear still adds Space-near-wall Wall Boost, R Air Blast, and Hold Q Power Dash. Fusion inherits hybrid versions of those patterns.
Platform references: PC Controls, Mobile Controls, Gear Controls.
Beta status after Update 1
Parkour Pandemic remains in active beta with the disclaimer EXPECT BUGS on the Roblox page. Volts rates, Gear costs, and disaster timing may receive hotfixes without a full Update 2 rebrand.
