Playing on console
Roblox console clients can run Parkour Pandemic in beta using a gamepad. Rxinen Projects maps the same ability set as PC — Dash, Slide, Double Jump, and Gear actions — to controller buttons.
Exact bindings may follow Roblox default templates until custom layouts ship. Treat the mappings below as functional equivalents to PC keys.
Suggested gamepad layout
Because beta patches can change console UI, use this PC-to-controller translation when learning:
- Face button (A / Cross) — Jump / Double Jump on second press
- Left bumper — Dash (Q equivalent)
- Right bumper — Slide (C equivalent)
- Face button (Y / Triangle) — Emote (B equivalent)
- Face button (X / Square) — Air Blast (R, Power Gear)
- Hold left bumper — Power Dash (Hold Q, Power Gear)
- Jump near wall — Wall Boost (Speed Gear)
Console movement tips
Analog sticks make camera control smoother for Wall Boost setup but Dash direction follows stick aim — neutral stick before Dash if you want straight-line bursts.
Void disaster rounds punish analog drift. Release the stick when Slide-chaining narrow Update 1 beams to avoid walking off edges.
Gear on controller
Speed Gear Wall Boost and Power Gear Air Blast / Power Dash use the same conceptual inputs as PC. Read Gear Controls for ability priority during two-minute rounds.
Fusion Gear from Update 1 may require chorded inputs — verify in a safe lobby before equipping in competitive beta sessions.
