Parkour Pandemic PC Controls

Full PC keyboard controls for Parkour Pandemic on Roblox — Dash, Slide, Double Jump, emotes, and Gear abilities in beta.

Default keyboard bindings

Parkour Pandemic on PC uses a compact control scheme built for disaster parkour. These bindings reflect the current beta build by Rxinen Projects and match the official Roblox control description for the experience.

Movement uses standard WASD or arrow keys with Space to jump. The advanced kit separates quick taps from held inputs — Power Dash requires holding Q, not tapping it.

  • B — Emote (lobby and social use)
  • Q — Dash (quick burst forward)
  • C — Slide (low profile on ledges)
  • Double Space — Double Jump
  • Space near wall — Wall Boost (Speed Gear required)
  • R — Air Blast (Power Gear required)
  • Hold Q — Power Dash (Power Gear required)

Dash and Slide fundamentals

Dash (Q) is your primary gap closer. Use it after Slide exits on narrow Update 1 beams to stabilize momentum. Tapping Q repeatedly without planning leads to corner collisions — aim Dash where the camera already points.

Slide (C) lowers your profile and extends certain jumps when chained from a sprint. During Void disaster rounds, Slide keeps you centered on thin platforms while other players bounce off edges.

Double Jump timing

Double Jump activates with a second Space press while airborne. The timing window is generous in beta, but height varies based on your first jump arc. Practice Double Jump from stationary starts on safe lobby geometry before using it during Volts routes.

Double Jump alone does not replace Gear for late Void phases — it supplements Dash and Slide for mid-tier verticality.

Gear abilities on PC

After purchasing Gear with Volts, additional inputs unlock. Speed Gear enables Wall Boost by jumping near vertical surfaces. Power Gear adds R for Air Blast — a mid-air correction tool — and Hold Q for Power Dash, a stronger escape than standard Dash.

See Gear Controls for ability interactions and Fusion Gear notes from Update 1.

PC optimization tips

Cap your mouse sensitivity at a level where you can track wall-run angles without 180-degree overshoots. Disasters telegraph at screen edges; losing track for one second kills runs on the two-minute timer.

If you also play on mobile, read Mobile Controls — ability names match even when buttons differ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I rebind keys in Parkour Pandemic?

Roblox experiences sometimes honor Roblox-level keybind settings. Check Roblox settings and in-game menus if Rxinen Projects adds custom rebinding in future beta patches.

What is the difference between Dash and Power Dash?

Dash is a quick Q tap available to everyone. Power Dash requires Power Gear and holding Q for a longer, stronger burst.

Does Wall Boost need a running start?

You need to jump (Space) near a wall while Speed Gear is equipped. Approach angle matters — face the wall closely for consistent boosts.

When should I use Emote on B?

Emotes are non-combat animations. Use them in lobby or safe areas, not during active disaster escapes.
